This Privacy Policy describes how Open Growth Group INC ("Company", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of agentsHQ (the "Platform"), including the website at agentshq.sh, the agentsHQ CLI tool, the agentsHQ API, and all related services.

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

• Telemetry Data: When you install an agent definition using the CLI tool, we collect anonymous install events including: a one-way hash of your IP address (salted daily and not reversible to the original IP), the agent name and source repository, the IDE or editor used, and the date of installation. We do not collect your actual IP address, your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information through telemetry.
• Web Analytics: We use third-party analytics services (Google Analytics, PostHog) to collect standard web analytics data, including pages visited, referral source, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location. This data is collected using cookies and similar technologies.
• Server Logs: Our servers automatically record information about each request, including the request URL, IP address, browser user agent, referral URL, and timestamp. Server logs are retained for operational purposes and are automatically deleted after 30 days.

1.2 Information You Provide

When you interact with the Platform, you may provide:

• Repository URLs: When submitting a repository for indexing, you provide the repository URL. This is used to fetch and index publicly available agent definition files.
• Search Queries: When using the search feature, your search terms are processed to return results. Search queries may be logged for analytics and service improvement purposes.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers (no user accounts are required);
• Payment or financial information;
• Source code from your projects or local file system;
• Contents of your conversations with AI agents;
• Authentication tokens, API keys, or credentials of any kind.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform;
• Provide install counts and popularity statistics for agent definitions;
• Generate aggregate analytics about Platform usage and trends;
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use collected information to identify individual users, build user profiles, serve targeted advertising, or sell data to third parties.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Aggregate Data: We publish aggregate, non-personally identifiable data such as total install counts, IDE breakdown statistics, and trending agent rankings. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
• Service Providers: We use third-party service providers (hosting, analytics, CDN) who may process data on our behalf. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

• Telemetry data (hashed IP + install events) is retained indefinitely to provide accurate install statistics.
• Server logs are retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted.
• Analytics data is retained according to the respective third-party provider's retention policies.
• Indexed agent content is retained as long as the source repository is publicly available and may be removed upon request.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. International Data Transfers

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
